No. I can't tell you the ex..."Easy"? No. I can't tell you the exact details why but the arm version is an older one. The question is whether the tools are available to build a more current kernel. Personally, I don't find the machine very useful. It's either too slow or the apps too complicated for the power. I had always hoped something like Android or the ipad interface would be fashioned to fit this kit. It really was ahead of its time with the instant on and other applet based programs combined with the touch screen. I stumbled onto this site looking for wee little boards that already run current kernels that might interface to the hardware on the netbook pro.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10666024033758991260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5236096601535825743.post-47553615495482610792010-03-14T16:02:13.565-07:002010-03-14T16:02:13.565-07:00hello...anyone here?

However, the other distro is GPE based, and GPE is stil being developed, so I expect other packages are available. Also, if you use the method above, Win CE will always be there - just remove your CF card, and do a hard reset, and the Netbook will boot back into Win CE.Gadgetmiserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06733093995583288596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5236096601535825743.post-19634997527235339432009-08-10T16:04:28.192-07:002009-08-10T16:04:28.192-07:00Oh, and one more thing - if you use that PsionLX i...Oh, and one more thing - if you use that PsionLX image, does it require the CF card with an image after the initial installation? Or it replaces the Win.CE completely? I've downloaded the image and still couldn't understand what package management does it use. Can I use 3rd party packages with it? Furthermore, can I modify the image to include more up2date packages?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
